I have already installed ubuntu 9.04 and have couple of troubles
First : Which installer package i need to download?
Second : How to install pd , or something else on ubuntu?

i don't have ubuntu instlled, in opensuse the installation is easy using yast, don' know if there's a simila installation wizard for ubuntu!?
but maybe you want to check out this link, there are extended packages for jaunty as it seems:
http://apt.puredata.info/releases/pool/

I've downloaded first package from list and then right click on this and choose "open with gdebi package installer". Now PD is installed and works fine.
