When the winds of change are blowing, some people are building shelters while others are building windmills...
Which OS are you running?
Also, try this

There's a pd-externals download, and OSC is in there.
Thanks for reply,
I know of the different externals solutions for OSC (mrpeach, OSCx). I guess that's what you are talking about.
What i meant is Pd-VANILLA patches (using netclient or the like - but only vanilla objects) implementing OSC.

maybe best to send a request to the pd mailing list about this.
edit - are you sure you weren't dreaming? everything i read while googling and searching the mailing list seems to suggest that OSC is still a problem for vanilla users.

No i'm not... sure.

Yeah, the semicolon problem...
I won't loose anymore time. Instead, i'll try to compile mrpeach for my amd64.
edit - I spent quite some time trying to compile OSCx for my amd64 distro. I never managed to get dumpOSC to work.
mrpeach compiles right away for amd64.

Silly me,
In the hurry of compiling/trying, i just forgot to give dumpOSC the port argument in my most recent tries. In fact, it compiles nicely for amd64.
Now, given that everybody seems to agree on the fact that mrpeach OSC external is a better implementation of the protocol, i'll just stick to it.
