25 individual oscillators correspond to my 25 note midi keyboard but after i play two notes the sound just cuts off and i have to quit and start again

IS that too many oscilators or something else

I'm not sure about this, but i suppose i has to do that you output all oscillators with full amplitude (1 that is). Have you tried switching the peak meters on on the main console? Pd can cope with going in to the red a little, but then things break up.

So when having 25 oscillators you should be carefull with their combined amplitudes. You could try to mulitply them all by [*~ 0.1]. But probably there's a cleverer way to do it with some kind of velocity algorithm.

What i also would do is not output each voice directly to the [dac~] but use [throw~] and have a [catch~] connected to the [dac~]. That way you can easily control the amplitude of all oscillators at once.
