I'm new to this whole scene but i'm enjoying the PD learning curve. it seems to me that pd has a massive array of possibilities for the future of music programming. I was wondering if it supports ReWire? or if there is a way to sync it with other programs in windows? if not is there any plans towards doing this?

It is an audio connection kit that connects all of your audio playback softwares to each other; in other words, you can have the audio from your winamp routed to Pd, of which outputs routed to your audio sequencer (i.e. Cubase, ProTools, Ardour, etc), the outputs of your audio sequencer fed back to Pd, and so on... This a lot more versatile and functional way of connecting softwares to each other then using Rewire.
