HI

I can't seem to write a file into a folder using the [writesf~] help file

So if i save that example onto my desktop, presumably when I click the
[open -bytes 3 /tmp/foo.wav( message, it should create a folder called "temp" with the file "foo.wav" in it?

AM I misunderstanding this

I'm not completely sure about the folders, although i think there should be no problems with that. Don't forget to also send a [start( and [stop( message, after the [open( message. Once you sent the [stop( message i think you must first send the [open( message before you can record again.

I'm using 5 of them to record 5 stereo tracks simultaneously and had no problems with it so far.

On windows 0.38.4 extended here.
