im very new to this and im sure u can understand its all a bit... confusing!
What I am trying to do is to create a realtime input that actually encodes the human voice and then outputs it.

I tried the {adc~} {dac~} thing but it distorts the voice and comes out as noise. I tried delaying it, amplifying it, adding effects etc etc but its not working.

is there a certain object i should use?
or maybe an external microphone? (im currently using the macbook's mics)

i think you're getting feedback loop - the noise is coming out the speakers and going back in the microphone.....sort outta control like!!

Try monitoring though headphones
