Hi All,
I just downloaded Pd-0.51-4 from the Miller Puckette site.

Dragged the file into Applications.
Opened & went to Help/Find externals.
Installed Gem library.
Started reading the Gem tutorial (April 10, 2003) by IOhannes zmolnig but can't seem to access the Gem components.
I have searched for info on this subject - on this Forum & elsewhere - but can't find any up to date help.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

@JackOats Go to Preferences -> Startup and add Gem. Restart Pd.

Excellent! Thank you so much. That worked.
I had filled in that box yesterday - but I typed 'Gem' into the box where you have the font size! The large space above seemed to be 'greyed out' so I ignored it.
