i got a few basic things going already.....made minor alterations to existing patches...

how long does it take to get well into?

i am hoping to make some really cool interactive guis for my pd patches with this. looks very promising.

also...has anyone tried doing audio in it?

Processing looks crazy nice... I never tried to get anything done with it (although I'm considering using it for my master). Did you find any good tutorial for begininers?

They are meant to get people with no computereze background up and running. I know that's not you but some stuff towards the back might be helpful.

for sound output.

One warning, Processing is a Java-based beast, so it's a bit unstable. Basically great for a performance situation if you have time to reload a program that crashed and a bit questionable for a long term installation scenario. My experiences are almost exclusively on Mac platform, I know Windows has a much better Java VM.
