Don't think so Boonier - SD2 is a quite different format from .wav
So many lovely formats to choose from

Use the Source.
second that. The format really relies upon the old-style Macintosh Resource-fork that used to be the norm on MacOS.

I guess the question is - why do you need to do this? & on what platform? Probably better to write out aiff files & then convert/import them to SD2 in the environment where you need them.

Exactly. Digital Performer will always convert aiff or wav to sd2 thus doubling the size of the project.
I'm just a bit lazy when it comes to house keeping thats all. I supposed there's no reason why I cant delete the aiffs after they're imported. I wish DP would change to an interleaved format and I wouldn't have to take the extra steps. I this day and age....
I s'pose they have their reasons..
thanks anyhow

What about AppleScript-automator, I'm sure you could whip up something to import the aiffs & delete them...
I didn't realise that DP (well anyone) still used SDII - I have fond memories of SoundDesigner & old Digidesign hardware: 'it just worked' (well, usually).
Oops! Looks like something went wrong!
