I've organised a sample in my DAW into 12 equally spaced notes like so..
.
A phasor is used to ramp from 0 to 1 to play through the sample. I then thought it was appropriate to multiply that value by 11, but i dont think this has divided the where the sample is played back in line with how i've organised them in the DAW?
the result is getting sent to a 15 by 15 grid. I was aiming for the beginning of the sound of the separate notes to be triggered by 12 allocated squares.
if I add another four notes in the DAW and upload it to the application mlr
you can see that the sample is evenly distributed across the x axis grid where its possible to trigger the sample at different start points....what am i not doing in my patch for this to work out over 12?
Many thanks
i think 0 - 11 ( 12 values) need to divide into one evenly. Hopefully you can see in the array i have 12 bits of audio evenly spaced that i want to launch. how ever im not sure i have the correct some to divid the input ?
the answer is the value of 12 divieded into one
