How can i play multiple notes (chords) with a midi-keyboard? Using notein object only allows for one note at a time. Can anyone help?

I have read that the lower the sampling rate the lower will be the frequency of the sampled signal (since the resulting signal has been sampled with greater distances), but can't understand why the frequency of a [osc~ 440] will get higher if i lower the sampling rate in the Media > Audio Settings, and it sounds lower if i choose a higher sampling rate.
Can anyone explain why is this happening?

PS: Now i have tested something else which is strange for me:
    With the following patch:

    Screenshot.png

if i click on the Media > Audio Settings > Apply key:

    Screenshot-1.png

The frequency gets higher, and when i save the patch the frequency will be 440 Hz. again.
I would be very thankful for any explanations about these two things.

I have installed pd-extended from the pd homepage, i am running pd-extended on ubuntu 14.04 64-bit and now i get the following error in the console by starting pd-extended:

WARNING: 64-bit builds are still beta, some libraries are known to have serious issues (cyclone, maxlib, moonlib, moocow, pdp, bsaylor, etc.)
For more info, see the README.txt in '64-bit-warning-plugin' in the Help Browser

I have looked at the both websites mentioned in the README.txt, but couldn't find out how could i fix this. Can anyone help with this issue?

    Hi

i mean controlling the system Volume (not from inside the patch). If pd is running the system volume gets out of function, so i cant turn the volume of the speakers lower or higher.

    regards
