But in all seriousness, is there anyone attempting to organize another PdCon? I have been quite busy lately with my university so I didn't follow the mailing list very closely, only our forum here. If there would be something going on, I'd be more than glad to help with whatever I can!

Or you guys could all just simply come here to Prague. Most people here still use Max over Pd (and Mac over Linux for that matter), but the city is wonderful and the beer is delicious

I am planning to host (some kind of) Pd Convention in Lawrence, KS in (probably) the 3rd week of June 2015. The reason for the parentheses: the structure is very much open for discussion!

I have done basic fact-finding for a few months and received positive responses from the locals.

Nor does the event planned have to be the only Pd Con of 2015. I sincerely hope to find a plan that fits our community with the Pd online community and expands the map of possible events

So far, some ideas for a bar camp style Pd Con have been discussed on the pd-list, and I think the philosophy fits well:

That's great news, thanks for posting all this info here. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to come to the US on that date, I already have an academic trip planned there in September 2015 and I don't think I can afford to do that twice in an year. Nevertheless, I really hope this will work out!

Also, it would be great to have some material from the conference (talks and performances) and uploaded to Youtube or Vimeo. I have been looking for material from the previous PdCons but I found very little online.

Take care and good luck!
Gilberto

It appears to me the Bauhaus Uni PdCon 2011 website is down at the moment. They have done a great job of maintaining the conference proceedings online. For now, you can view some talks and performances on this vimeo channel:
