<p>Im using ubuntu studio 12.04 (with QjackCtl) and eveytime i start pd-extended (but not puredata) all other audio stops. it looks like pd takes over the whole audio. playing around with jack didnt much help</p>
<p>Does anyone had this thing?<br />

Using Alsa Sink does not help either.</p>
<p>edit: vanilla Pure Data does not suffer from this.<br />
I am using Ubuntu 14.04</p>

<ol>
<li>open a patch</li>
<li>close it</li>
<li>open it again</li>
<li>turn DSP off and on again.</li>
</ol>
<p>This has worked reliably well for me on a variety of Ubuntu and PD releases.</p>
