Can't seem to get 0.42.5 to pick up the pix_opencv libraries. I have installed the framework as per http://hangar.org/wikis/lab/doku.php?id=start:puredata_opencv#binary_package which is Yves Degoyon site. Also installed the libraries by copying to correct folder running under user ~Library/Pd. PD will not create the objects from the library even though as far as I can tell they are correctly installed...

Any ideas welcome

MAC OS 10.8.5
PD 0.42.5

If you're reverting, you might need to delete a pre-existing preferences file.

Thanks - I had considered that and deleted them. I think I have crossed all my "t's" and dotted my "i's" from what I can tell, but still spending another 2 hours trying to install these things yesterday was unsuccessful. I had it working a couple of months ago and needed to wipe my machine recently. I installed MAC OS 10.8.5 and PD 0.43.4 and had many problems with that and cameras, libraries etc., so decided to revert to 0.42.5 which was stable and had no issues. I'm kind of desperate now as this is for a research project.

well, after much gnawing and gnashing of teeth, I managed to get PD to pick up the libraries on the 3rd re-install of it. Very strange... Happy though!
