Hi to all, this is my first 3d in this forum.

I started studying pd by my own some weeks ago, I do not have any background in programming and informatics.

In these days I'm trying to build a sample-based glitch patch, like the MaxMSP's one in this video:

Because of my inexperience (the patch does not look too difficult to replicate) I would like to ask you how to make the "jumping" sample reader with visual waveform with pure data.

Maelstorm's waveform display should do the "display part" work pretty well : http://puredata.hurleur.com/sujet-5890-waveform-display .

For the rest, the original patch is rather messy, and my remembering of Max/Msp too loose to comment other steps.
