6DOF motion sensor and Pura data

I am using a "6 degree of freedom" motion sensor...

... and connecting it through an arduino mega that than uses the Pduino mega...

...to interface with Pure data.

I am wondering if anyone knows of any pathces to correctly read 6dof sensors (3 vector accellerometer and 3 vector gyroscope)

I found this tutorial on the maths of how to do this but since I am new to Pure data (and my math skills are not my best features I am wondering if anybody has already been trying something similar and might give me a point in the right direction.

This is a tutorial for a 5DOF sensor though. I guess one could extend it to a 6DOF sensor

argh. that's a lot of homework if i'm gonna tackle your question,

Instead I'll point you to some objects that you'll need. get help on [+ ] for lots of maths stuff, and then look into [expr]

hope that's enough to get you going

Yeah it is quite alot of math. I didnt expect you to to do it for me More wondering if anyone had done something similar before.

when you say "get help on [+ ] ...) is that an url or are you talking about looking into the explination for the plus object within PD?

i'm working on the same thing and was wandering if you found some useful stuff?
i got 6dof senssor and trying to extract data from it to pure data
(working on arduino uno)
