I am currently talking a New Media class...and we are learning Arduino and PD....
Currently, I am trying to build this project that interact Adobe Flash, Arduino, and Pure Data.

Similar to this:

The thing is that we only learn PureData for only 4 days so I need some major help LOL

Anyway..I am going to have a circuit with 3-5 photoresistor
each photoresistor is controlling different movement in flash

Photoresistor 1: a picture of a butterfly moving left
Photoresistor2: a picture of a flower falling from left to right
And soo on….

I used the "search" function of the forums and found some links…I come across this
http://www.benchun.net/flosc/

I am still a abit confuse on how to start things and would love to have some pointers, tutorials or a overview on how to launch this project.

Really appreciated,
Full Moon

I won't be able to help you on the flosc/flash side of things, but OSC in pd is s00per simple.

go to help > browser > manual > networking > OSC.pd

but thanks for the comment....it helped alot

First of all you should install Pduino, a library for Pd that helps you to send and recieve data from Arduino. Everything you need can be found here: http://at.or.at/hans/pd/objects.html

Now it's all about Pd patching. Each single photoresistor will give you a normalized value between 0 and 1. Probably you'll need Gem to perform the transformations you ask for.

It's actually easier than it seems. Feel free to ask if you need further informations

These are Max/MSP tutorials, but the info translates to Pd perfectly
