<p>like, if you have several buttons at a size of 30, and then you make them really tiny (like a size of 8 or 10) would/could that make things run faster? maybe not dramatically faster, but would it have an effect?</p>
<p>i have read several times on here that the Pd GUI sucks up a lot of processing, but i also hear something about it being re-worked so i guess that is cool.</p>

as far as pd is concerned it does not seem to make a difference. i tried out controlling a set of 200 sliders via one send, first in the default size, then i resized them to 3x50 px - measuring cpu with [dsp] didn't show up big differences.</p>
