well, as a MSP user whi switched to pd, one of the objects many of my patches depend on is the scale object from maxlib. It conflicts with the scale object ofo GEM, so now I do not load the GEm lib, but this problem should be addressed. Is there any way of loading GEM without scale, so that the scale in maxlib is loaded/ and where can i find mor einfo on this?

really i don't know. i have that problems with others libs , i need to know how to define a priority when using librairies.

ok im sorry but like everytime , as i m not named olaf matthes , i haven"t the chance to be given a answer on the mailing .

especially the fact that i had a question never answered. the question has been sended later by eric sekogen (from audionerd ) , of course he got a response on the same day, LIKE EVERYTIME.

1st:
just load the maxlib before Gem, then you will have most objects from Gem, but the scale will be maxlib's - this is: after an objects is registered (which happens when loading a library) it cannot be overwritten by another library any more (so the name is "taken")

2nd:
as for the pd-list: try to send emails to the list from the account that you have subscribed.
like the reject-mail says, you can subscribe multiple accounts and disable mail-delivery - so you can send with multiple "from:"-addresses but you will only receive the list-mails once.
and *no*, i will not change the policy to reject all mails that come from not-subscribed people.
