I want to remote-start pd with matlab under winxp sp3 and have a question:

Is there a chance to remote-control the "compute audio" button, or a flag to start pd with the compute audio flag being set? Right now I start the testtone.pd, which does the trick, but I don't want to use this patch - maybe there is a chance to only supress the GUI of this particular patch? The flag -nogui is supressing all GUIs, but I want to see the GUI of my patch.

Anyone?

thanks for your reply. I'd be very happy to have a slightly more detailed hint about what you are aiming at. Is this a startup flag or do I have to integrate it into my patch? Do you mean two graphical Blocks connected by '|' ?

Please be patient, I'm a newby in this area.

Regards,

you can do the same thing with a command line flag: pd -send "; pd dsp 1"

you stick it in the patch.

a loadbang object, connected to a message box with "; pd dsp 1" much like claudius here mentioned.

the command line option is probably more what you are looking for given that that is how you are working.
