I'm trying to use Pure Data with my android smartphone (Version 12 / Version One UI 4.1) so I installed PdDroid Party. My patch appears in the "compatible patches found" but when I click on it, the window closes immediately. And when I click again a message informs me that there is a bug in the app and that I should update it. But there are no updates available, it seems that my Android version is too recent. Would you know if there's a way to solve it? Or another application that would match my phone?
Thanks!

I still use 51.4 and I noticed people complaining about versions after that and I never updated. and I dont have the newest problems. so you might get an older pd vanilla and then resave your stuff from that and try it again.

Unfortunately there is an issue in the display (a number object doesn't appear). And the connection with my midi-usb keyboard doesn't work.
I'm gonna try with intermediate versions between 51.4 & 56.2.
(as I'm a noob, I don't know if it's got an importance or not with this problem, but I add that I recorded the patch on MacOS)

So the number objet doesn't display, But the main problem is for the mid-usb keyboard.
And I'm just wondering if it's possible to use Pure Data & a Midi-Usb Keyboard with an Android...
Does someone got an idea?

But I think devices need to offer support for a USB OnTheGo connection.
The Hexler TouchOsc page ... https://hexler.net/touchosc/manual/setup-android-usb-midi suggests that there are no naming conventions or fixed port numbers.
This page might help understanding of any hurdles... https://source.android.com/docs/core/audio/midi

I can find no reference to a successful PdDroidParty implementation but I think it could be a question of finding a midi device that claims to work with Android.... class compliant.
Some might work but need a splitter OTG cable to provide extra power for the device.

The TouchOSC app is cheap and IMHO a useful investment...... so might be worth trying.
It can easily communicate with Pd on a computer over a network using OSC messages.
I'm gonna take a look to those pages.
Meanwhile I tried with another App (Audio Evolution Mobile), and the midi works, as I can play a midi instrument track with my usb-keybord. So midi can works with my android phone.
But for the Pd patch I want to use, there's a bang object that I want to trigger with my usb-keybord, and none of the keys works (though it works with my computer).
