I can handle macOS of course, but I need help compiling and testing for other systems, and when this is all good I will tell you all about the countless new things I did for this and officially announce and put out the release.

Did you ever manage to get ELSE on Dekken for Linux/ Raspberry Pi?

I have a Pi and ELSE doesn't show up at all in Dekken or in apt get.

I am on an older Pi, 4 model B Rev 1.4. running Debian 10. I Have Pd .56-1.

Let me know if you need help testing it out or something.

note, however, that there are more than one possibility for binaries, 32 x 64 bits and stuff. I don;t know what makes sense in building and providing

So, do the externals show up for you on deken as the right architecture for you?

What is your architecture and OS?

'can't load library' or simply 'can't load an object' is the most general error that implies it can't find the object...

I just have a policy of having only the last 5 releases of ELSE into deken, because it's so damn huge...

And yeah, now I see it's been just a bit over two years that I haven't been able to provide binaries. Maybe in RC10 is when Tim changed the build system or something, and then in RC12 we started having this issue with FFMpeg that was included for [sfload] and [play,file~] which persisted to this day...

And RC13 is when I was desperately asking for help here on this thread but I was also asking for it non desperately before that...

I can't recall the issue for not providing RC10 and RC11 binaries.

the problem was sfz~ and plaits~ which had to be built separately... it just got way more problematic after RC12... anyway, I'm glad things seem to be fixed now and next I hope to be able to make github actions work for the pi, so I don't even have to bother anyone compiling it for me

It went well and the 64 bit binaries from else work! also pd-link~ which seemed to be the problem back when I tried to help with compiling. sfz~ works too!

I then had some troubles with vsts and other externals because of the change to 64 bit (ipoke~ and autotune~) which are both kind of obscure but manged to compile them.

In my current patch I didn't run in any breaking changes but I read the changelog and would probably have to update some older patches to make them work again, but thats okay, I'm happy to be up to date with else now and it's the same between my laptop and my raspberry pi.

Awesome news! Now we also have github actions producing Pi binaries. I uploaded to deken, can you test?
