<![CDATA[Are some of the formatting controls broken?]]>Some of the formatting controls seem to be broken, e.g.
bold
italic
list

I just tried formatting each of these words with the corresponding formatting control by highlighting the word and clicking the control. That's the way I remember things used to work. I can sometimes get things to work if I go to my old posts and look at what the characters are and then enter them manually, but even that doesn't work consistently. I'm on Chrome/Windows. Am I doing something wrong?

(I just formatted "wrong" in italics bold by putting 3 stars before and after it)
