Many of the tutorials I have found use separate midi ports to build the instrument or Pd-Extended but I am only supposed to be using Pd. I have the general logic of how the instrument should be programed I'm just struggling with actually putting it together. If anyone has any resources or ideas I would really appreciate it.

I was able to put together a patch that converts the keys to the proper frequencies but it's clicking now and I've tried to throw in an ADSR but thats not helping much. I'm using line~ as well. If you have any tips for that I would appreciate it. Thank you
