Sorry if I post in the wrong spot.

I got a collection of old usb webcams that I would like to connect to pd. Initially I only want to grab the camera streams. Is there a tutorial that I could follow? I am hoping that there already is a library in Purr Data and an object I can use.

Thanks a lot!

As far as i know purr data is not compatible with Gem on OSX and you would need the support of quicktime, so with the newest OSX Gem should also not work. I use 10.11.6 and i have varying success in using webcams, some work some don't. Other than thant Pd + Gem is great.
Also there is a new library, ofelia, to check out.
