is there any possibility to pitch shift my incoming guitar signal via PD? I would like to have an Octave up/down somehow, with a slider maybe? So I wondered if its possible with an DAC~ ?

Any ideas? Somehow all the patches I found are pitchshifters for alredy recorded audio files, which are then played in the patch.

Hope you understand my question

Here was posted another patch that used the phase vocoder method, which sounds much better to me.

There are also distortions, but whatever the technique you can't avoid it. The help file is french but the patch is still fully understandable I think, and there are comment in english inside the main abstraction.
