The next alpha release of Purr Data (the GUI port of Pd-l2ork) is
now available.

Change log:

• bugs from alpha0 were fixed
• should be up to date with most changes from Pd Vanilla 0.47

Alpha builds should go much more quickly from this point--about one per week.

Wow ! this is really awesome !

I'm on ubuntu 14.04 and using a dark theme and I can't read the menus name, they are here, and they work though.

all those new features are really nice, the only thing that I miss is the good old help browser that I love, and I can't seem to find it here.

I'm eager to see more of it and be able to use it in a classroom.

@jancsika cant someone else just build for mac and send you back? when do you think you can get a hold of a mac machine?

I haven't spent any time on the help browser yet. The shortcut <ctrl-b> will bring up a search window, but I'm only indexing "doc" atm.

@porres OSX is by far the most difficult platform to get it up and running. I wasn't able to get a successful automated build before the machine died. But I should be able to get something up in the next few weeks.

Hi! I installed the windows versión. The console starts Ok but cant open any patch. Any Ideas?

@claiman What happens when you try to open a patch? And are you able to create a new patch?

Also, what version of Windows?

@pooopsi Thanks, I found an OSX machine in the past few months.

Purr Data is essentially like Pd-extended-- Pd plus a lot of externals all shipped together in a single installer.

Unlike Pd-extended, Purr Data uses nw.js instead of tcl/tk for the GUI. It also builds on lots of features in Pd-l2ork like built-in preset classes, infinite undo, unified preferences dialog with gui skins, svg-based data structure drawing improvements, improved documentation, improved UI, and a lot else.

I'm building the first stable release right now...
