<![CDATA[MIDI Control Change (CC) to Notes Translation]]>Hello,

I am trying to put together a patch that takes two devices (One that outputs CC and notes and the other just outputs notes)

And outputs them as only notes to one device. I then also need to be able to send notes back to both devices.

Am I dreaming? I've spent about four hours looking at sample patches and I can't find anything that points me in the right direction. This MUST have been done before.

If I understand you correctly, I think this should be fairly easy to achieve using [notein], [ctlin] and [noteout]. With [ctlin <CC> <channel-no>], you can specify the CC number as the first argument and the channel to be listened to as the second argument (e.g. [ctlin 64 1] listens to CC #64 on channel 1). Using [noteout <channel-no>], you can output anything as MIDI notes to a specific channel as well.

If this doesn't help, I suggest you upload the patch you got so far so people can try troubleshooting it with you.
