Hello PD Forum!

I am trying to build a MIDI to DMX convertor in Pure Data and I am completely stumped at how to achieve this! Is there anyone out there with any ideas on how to do so?

I'm not sure what I need to download if anything and its all just really foreign to me.

I am new to Pure Data and I am using it for a uni project;

I am building a MIDI to DMX convertor and I am stumped tbh. What patches do I need to download? What do I have to build myself. how do I go about this?

Hello PD forum!

I have completely new to Pure Data and have to use it for a uni project, my goal is too take the MIDI input data from electronic drum pads and convert them into DMX values for colours on intelligent lighting.

Is anybody out there able to help explain the coding because I have no idea and all of my time playing with PD has just left me confused?
