    Dear all,

We have just released BluePD a new product in our BlueSense series IO modules.

BluePD introduces Pure Data to the world of physical computing. With BluePD you can design your program visually using the popular Pure Data package. BluePD is equipped with a powerful minicomputer which can execute your patch. This allows BluePD to physically control your setup without any attached computer. BluePD has a special port to connect multiple BlueSense IO modules. This among others allows the user to readout switches, sample analog values, control motors, etc.

    Dear all,

Is there any kind of standard benchmark patch which I can use to index the performance of a certain Pure Data implementation? I would like to perform the benchmark on our embedded Pure Data version.

    Regards,
    Dinne

    Dear Pure Data users,

We have just released Pure Data objects for BlueSense range of products. BlueSense allows you to (wirelessly) connect sensor and actuator modules. Currently we have modules available for analog inputs (infrared distance sensors, force sensors,...), digital inputs (counters, rotary encoders), digital outputs (including PWM) and servo motor control.

In a few weeks additional modules will be available for analog output (digital pot meters), dc motor control and do-it-yourself module kits. Please have a look at our website:

We are very interested in working together with artists, If you want to realize an interesting project entailing public exposure we can arrange sponsorship

    greetings,

    Dear Nestor,

It's an embedded device. ITX would introduce some problems:
    *Much larger dimensions
*ITX would have a higher power power consumption
*ITX would be more costly (standard ITX lacks a memory module and power supply)

    regards,
    Dinne Bosman
