i'm a student in audio production, i'm learning Pure Data these days and i'm really enjoin' it

i have encountered a strange cursor bug and i have no idea of how i can solve it:
anytime i open Pd and try to make a region with the cursor, it creates the region but shifted diagonally, in the bottom right corner of the screen. that's driving me crazy

I used Pd-extended, but i tried Pd and gave me the same problem after a while.
I tried to delete and re-download Pure Data a couple of time but the problem persists.

What can I do? Is there a way to reset the main settings in pd?
