    @whale-av Thanks for the reply!

Thought i could figure this out, but not having any luck. I think you are right though, however i can't figure out how to see what driver to load, and then how i go about loading it... if i bang the driver examples from pix_video ( |driver 0(, |driver 1(, |driver dv( into the pix_video object i just get a "no method for 'driver'" message.

    any insight?

Hi, i can't seem to figure this out...

Basically i have a Mac, a patch with pix_video, and I have a camera connected - well it's a flir thermal camera connected to the PureThermal2 module (https://groupgets.com/manufacturers/getlab/products/purethermal-2-flir-lepton-smart-i-o-module).

The image from the camera displays perfectly as it should if i open skype (perfectly as you imagine thermal looks), on both mac and windows.
It also works in PD and looks as it should on a windows computer, through pix_video.
But on my Mac the image comes up green and purple, and with what i would describe as big scanlines but vertical throughout it.
Is it to do with pix_video? if it's a driver why does it appear perfectly on skype... if it's pix_video why does it work on my pc? I cannot figure this out... Unfortunately i cannot just adjust the colors and move on because the giant scanlines are there.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated!

    THANKS!!

@whale-av - You were right, I was not sending the "note off"

    Thanks a lot!

I haven't done much audio with pd so hopefully this is simple. (searched here with no luck)

I want to have people trigger notes in ableton via several sensors.
I'm sending the triggered MIDI notes to ableton via [noteout].
when a person is triggering the sensor the note is ON, and it's OFF when the person is not triggering the sensor.

In ableton i have the arpeggiator effect on.
if i play a regular (akai) midi keyboard now (through ableton and the arpeggiator effect), it works like normal and when i release a key the note stops.

My problem is a note sent from pd repeats and wont stop when released.
if i remove the arpeggiator effect, it plays normally.

why does the arpeggiator repeat from pd, and not with my midi keyboard?
how can i stop it from repeating when being sent from pd?

    thanks in advance!!!

Thanks a lot. I tried it out - looks close but the effect is more like a tint over all the colors (more or less).

I'm hoping for something like this that shifts each color:

Feel like i've tried every gem object... if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

    Thank you!

Hello Is there a way to shift the hue for a video or film?

This is what I am aiming for:

    Thanks @whale-av .

I tried each of the patches suggested - got close. Each had some issues i couldn't figure out.

Here's where i'm at and it's working pretty good for now... alpha and chroma key...

    Thanks @whale-av this helped.

What I am after is being able to key out the background just like green-screening (where the background is keyed out and you see a video behind a person)... Then I want to key out the person to reveal another video in their silhouette.

This works but gemhead 1 and 2 are easily key out together in the second round (of keying).

Here is what I hope to do:

Chroma key out parts of one gemhead film layer,
to reveal parts a film playing behind it (another gemhead layer)...
(Can i ) flatten these two gemheads and then manipulate it further, i.e.:
chroma key out more parts (originally from the top gemhead layer),
to reveal another film playing in the background?

Any help would be much appreciated!
    Thanks
